Propecia was used as a supplement in conjunction with my hair transplant
surgeries. After having 2 transplants, my doctor suggested using propecia
with the 3rd and as a supplement. He also said he noticed that when the
patient had a transplant and used propecia simultaneously, the hair came
back faster and fuller. Without question, he was right. I've been on the
drug at least 4 years and have experienced no noticeable side effects and
have been able to maintain a full head of hair. The only downside is the
cost. It is an expensive drug and not covered by most insurance. A 90 day
supply out of pocket was $189 from sam's club. Also, if you choose to take
this drug, check prices at several places. The major drugstore chains will

I've recovered at least 80% of my lost hair and I couldn't recommend this
better alongside good hair product (like Nioxin) - I agree with the
previous comment - certainly get your GP's opinion and good advice as
